FUNNY PETS CONTEST

Description

Pets are lovely, cute and sometimes hilariously funny. That is why The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks has so many cool pets available in our virtual world!

Now we want you to make a funny or cute video of an animal. It can be that of your pet, your friend’s pet or somebody else’s pet. We don’t mind as long as the video is original and not taken from somewhere else. It could be that of a sneaky cat snatching food from a dog, a funny dog trying hard to sing ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ or a hamster that leaps about like Spider Man! See the video below for an idea.

Closing date of the contest is 1^st April 2010, but the sooner you start the higher your chances of winning!

Instructions

1. Create an account on YouTube if you do not already have one
2. Upload the video to your You Tube account
3. In the title please be descriptive of your video, for eg. Funny Cat Eats Dog’s Food, Cute Dog Tries to Sing, Naughty Cat Steals My Toy, etc
4. In the description area, you must put the following info or your entry will not be accepted -
   
   http://www.wiglingtonandwenks.com – This funny animal video is brought to you by The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks Virtual World, the planet’s most massive virtual world for kids!
   
5. Please use the following keyword tags –  cute, funny, dogs, cats, animals, hilarious, weird, cool, videos, jokes
6. After the video is uploaded on You Tube, post your URL as a comment on this page
7. You are allowed to enter more than one video into the contest
8. Do not worry if your entry does not appear immediately. It means that it is being moderated for approval

Judging Criteria

1. Entries will be judged by the WW staff
2. Entries will be judged by the number of views, votes and favorites the video receives

Tips to Improve Your Winning Chances

1. Send the YouTube video link to your friends on Twitter, Face Book, My Space, Hi Five etc and ask them to view it, favorite it, vote for it and comment on it
2. Embed the YouTube video code on your friends on your blog and ask your friends to view it, favorite it, vote for it and comment on it
3. Submit your video to social bookmarking sites like Digg, Reddit, Stumble Upon, Propeller, etc

Rules

1. This contest is open to everyone
2. The date of the video post on You Tube must be not be earlier than the date of this Contest Post
3. Stolen videos will be disqualified immediately
4. Entries found not following the tags and description exactly as described in ‘Instructions’ will be rejected
5. Anyone found gaming or hacking the YouTube views will be disqualified immediately
6. Closing date of the contest is 1^st April 2010
